Three-time European champions Manchester United have continued their perfect record under new manager Erik Ten Hag (ETH) in pre-season after the win over fellow Premier League team Crystal Palace in their latest game.


Manchester United have been in top form since the arrival of their Dutch manager Ten Hag. They have won all their three pre-season friendly games under his watch. In his first match as the Manchester United manager, he masterminded the 4-0 win over arch rivals Liverpool on their tour of Asia.The Red Devils raced into a 3-0 lead at the halftime interval thanks to the goals from Jadon Sancho, Fred and Anthony Martial. Uruguayan substitute FacundoPellestri wrapped up the big win in the second half. The game between the top two English teams took place in Bangkok, Thailand.

In their second pre-season friendly game since the appointment of Erik Ten Hag, Manchester United came from behind to beat Australian side Melbourne Victory 4-1. The likes of Scott McTominay, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford were on target for the Red Devils. For their third pre-season friendly game this summer, Manchester United faced Crystal Palace. The London club went behind to a goal from Frenchman Martial on 17 minutes thus giving Manchester United a slim lead at the end of the first 45 minutes. Three minutes after restart, England international Marcus Rashford doubled the lead for the Red Devils before compatriot Jadon Sancho put the game beyond reasonable doubt with the third goal just before the hour mark. Joel Ward pulled one back for Crystal Palace on 74 minutes and it turned out to be a consolation goal. Manchester United ended the game with ten men after young centre back Will Fish was sent off having come on as a substitute. He was given his marching orders with six minutes left on the clock.

Manchester United have three more pre-season friendlies to play before the start of the season. Their next friendly game is against fellow Premier League team Aston Villa on Saturday.
