DALOT INTERESTED IN MAKING HIS MILAN LOAN PERMANENT

Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot who is currently on loan at Italian Serie A giants AC Milan wants to continue his stay in Italy instead of returning to his parent club this summer. The Portugal international right-back walked through the exit door at Old Trafford last summer on a temporary loan deal that saw him spend the entirety of this season in Italy and has impressed during his stay there.

Manchester United manager Olé Gunnar Solksjær revealed that the reason behind sending the defender out on loan was so that he could go get himself some minutes on the pitch as it would have been difficult for him to always stay on the bench this season. The signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka by Solksjær posed a huge threat to Dalot’s position in the team as the former Crystal Palace defender walked straight to the starting team, putting Dalot’s place at huge risk.

Predicted Manchester United XI To Take On Manchester City

League leaders Manchester City welcome their city rivals Manchester United to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday evening as both teams lock horns in the Manchester Derby holding different agendas in mind. On City’s part, they will be looking to maintain their winning streak and also aim to extend their points gap at the top of the Premier League table.

For Manchester United, while they will be looking to maintain their own unbeaten run, they will also want to do everything it takes to ensure that they reduce the number of points they are trailing the leaders with. It is expected to be both an interesting and a heated tie given the history of this fixture but with City nearing the Premier League title already, they will want to do everything in their capacity and apply any trick possible to put their rivals to the sword.
