English Premier League giants Manchester United will reportedly sign another midfielder if they lose Paul Pogba this summer, according to reports. France international midfielder Pogba has been strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent months and even though he continues to play down the rumors, they just keep on surfacing. The former Juventus star has remained an unsettled figure under Olé Gunnar Solksjær and he has continued to be tipped by his agent Mino Raiola to leave the club and move to another club.

Solskjær is a big fan of Pogba and has always declared that he will be more than glad to have the towering midfielder continue his career with the Red Devils and that he also would love to keep his star players to increase his chances of lifting titles as manager of the club. However, even though Solksjær wants to keep Pogba at the club, he still has to prepare for the worse that could happen given how unpredictable football is nowadays.

According to reports, the Red Devils manager is ready to sanction the purchase of a new midfielder if Pogba leaves this summer and he has reportedly been scouting for possible summer squad additions just in case he has to add a midfielder to his squad. While no specific name has been mentioned yet, the first name that springs to mind is Aston Villa midfielder, Jack Grealish. The England international midfielder is a well-known long-term target of the Red Devils and they could well make a bid for him if they lose Pogba.

However, fans believe that if Pogba eventually leaves the club, Solksjær should instead save funds and give Donny van de Beek the chance to participate more actively in the team next season as they believe that the Netherlands star is unjustly deprived of enough game time.
