Manchester City have indicated their interest in wantaway Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale. Reports in Spanish media have suggested that City are looking at a possible swap deal with Leroy Sane in order to bring the Welsh international to Etihad stadium.

Gareth Bale have endured a very rough spell with Madrid fans since his arrival in the Spanish capital. The Wales international has been said to favour other activities over his commitment to the course in Madrid. He was seen raising a flag that reads, “Wales, Golf, Madrid in that order” – a move that further infuriated the Madrid faithful. Bale has only played a handful of games for Madrid this season, as he has struggled with injuries.

Man City believes the offer of Leroy Sane plus cash will go a long way to convince Madrid to let go of the player who has struggled for fitness since his move to Madrid in 2014.

Leroy Sane is currently out injured, and he is expected to leave the Etihad in the summer, with Bayern Munich leading the race to sign the German. Former Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez has advised the club to go all out to sign Sane from City. He declared that the trio of Serge Gnabry, Robert Lewandowski and Sane will trouble any defense both home and abroad. But Man City Chiefs will rather choose to engage in a swap deal with Bale than sell the player outright.

Bale will be interested in a move back to England. He has also attracted interest from Man United, Chelsea and former club Tottenham Hotspur. The Wales international was a subject of massive bids from an unknown Chinese super league club. They offered the player a huge amount of money and other incentives in order for him to ditch the Bernabeu for a stint in Asia.
