Manchester United manager Olé Gunnar Solskjær and his players will be traveling to the West Midlands to take on Sam Allardyce’s West Bromwich Albion on the back of a narrow 1-0 win over West Ham in their FA Cup game at Old Trafford. The Red Devils welcomed David Moyes’ men to their home turf but needed a Scott McTominay strike during extra-time to emerge winners on the night of the FA Cup action.

The game was dominated by United as they played a total of 17 shots and had a larger share of the ball possession (62%) while finding it hard to break down a resilient West Ham defense. It was McTominay’s seventh goal of the season as he continues to make a claim for a starting berth in the United starting lineup.

The win confirmed United’s passage to the next round of the competition where they will be facing Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City side.

United’s next Premier League clash against the Baggies is a must-win match for Solskjær and his men given that they have faltered in some games this season and are coming off the back of a disappointing 3-3 draw in their last league clash against Everton at Old Trafford.

West Brom’s last Premier League game was against Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur, a game the Baggies lost by a margin of 2-0. Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min were the scorers of the two goals as they continue to drag themselves up the league table.

Red Devils manager Olé Gunnar Solskjær shied away when questioned about his side’s current league form that has seen them slip up with Manchester City continuing to widen the gap at the top of the pile. Here is the predicted team Olé will likely use on Sunday:

GK: David De Gea

Defense: Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelöf, Luke Shaw

Midfield: Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay, Fred

Attack: Anthony Martial, Edison Cavani, Marcus Rashford.
