Three-time European champions Manchester United have continued their perfect record under new manager Erik Ten Hag (ETH) in pre-season after the win over fellow Premier League team Crystal Palace in their latest game.

Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has turned down the offer of a new contract from his Italian Serie A team. The Manchester United target handed Lazio a big blow by rejecting a new contract extension as reported by Italian publication LazioNews24.

Manchester United target Milinkovic-Savic has been seriously linked with a move away from Lazio this summer. Apart from Manchester United, the Serbian international star has been reported as a target for fellow Premier League teams Arsenal and Newcastle United. Milinkovic-Savic doesn’t want to stay at Lazio after turning down the offer of a one-year contract extension on top of the two years left on his current deal with the capital club. The Serbian has a Lazio contract that does not expire until the end of the 2023/24 season.

European football is in serious doubt for Wolverhampton Wanderers next season after they were thumped 5-1 by defending champions Manchester City in the Premier League. The rescheduled league encounter played at the Molineux saw Kevin De Bruyne score four goals to lead his team to a big win at the expense of the home team.

They had the chance to move four points clear of United with an away win over Aston Villa with the Red Devils not in league action. Manchester United were not in league action over the weekend due to the FA Cup commitments of opponents Liverpool. The Premier League clash between hosts Liverpool and Manchester United have now been rescheduled for next month.
